[국내자료/학술지] 이후희. 2022. 유학생의 한국 대학생활 분석 및 지원방안 연구 -B대학교 사례를 중심으로-

본 연구는 유학생들의 한국 대학생활 관련 심층인터뷰를 통해 이들이 대학생활에 적응하는 데 있어서의 다양한 경험들과 어려움에 대해 탐색하였다. 연구대상은 B대학교에 재학중인 유학생 9명으로 목표표집 방법을 사용하여 표집하였고, 심층인터뷰를 진행하였다. Giorgi의 현상학적 방법을 토대로 자료를수집 및 분석하였다. 연구결과는 학업적 적응, 정서적 적응, 문화적 적응, 사회적 적응 총 4개의 구성요소로 도출되었다. 또한 각 구성요소에 따른 하위 구성요소는 10개로 최종 정리되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 유학생들의 한국 대학생활적응을 위하여 지원해야 할 방안에 대해서 구체적으로 논의하였고, 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.

This study explored various experiences and difficulties in adapting to university life by foreign students through in-depth interviews related to university life in Korea. The study subjects were 9 international students enrolled in University B, which were sampled using the target sampling method, and in-depth interviews were conducted. Data were collected and analyzed based on Giorgi's phenomenological method. The research results were derived into a total of four components: academic adaptation, emotional adaptation, cultural adaptation, and social adaptation. In addition, the sub-components according to each component were finally organized into 10 categories. Based on these research results, the measures to be supported for foreign students to adapt to Korean university life were discussed in detail, and suggestions were made for follow-up research.
