[초록]

  한국 대학에서 공부하는 중국인 유학생이 증가함에 따라, 이들의 학업 성취와 적응은 교육과정과 수업 그리고 고등교육분야의 중요한 연구 주제가 되었다. 이 연구에서는 성적이 우수한 중국인 유학생들이 개발하고 실천한 학습전략을 규명하여 중국인 유학생의 한국 대학 적응과 성공을 위한 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 연구자들은 다중 사례연구방법을통해 중국인 유학생들이 개발하고 활용한 창의적이고 독창적인 학습전략을 규명하였다. 연구 결과 중국인 유학생들은1) 개강 전 철저한 준비(미우주무, 未雨绸缪), 2) 사전 예습(암중비약, 暗中飛躍), 3) 적극적인 수업 참여(예기방장, 銳氣方張), 4) 복습 및 시험 대비(우공이산, 愚公移山), 5) 한국어 능력 신장(줄탁동시, 啐啄同時)과 6) 유학생으로서의자립적이고 조화로운 태도(자력갱생, 自力更生 + 화이불창, 和而不唱)를 중요한 전략으로 사용하는 것으로 드러났다. 또한, 이들의 학습전략은 한국 문화와 학문적 전통에 대한 이해와 존중을 바탕으로 하고 있었다. 이러한 전략들은 학업적 도전과 문화적 차이를 극복하며 성공적으로 적응하는 데 중요한 역할을 하였다. 이 연구는 한국 대학에서 공부하는 다른 국적의 유학생들에게도 적용 가능한 긍정적인 학습전략을 제시하며, 이는 유학생 지원 정책 및 프로그램개발에 중요한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 이 연구는 유학생들의 학습 경험을 통해 한국 대학의 교육적관행과 문화적 다양성을 이해하는 데 중요한 통찰을 제공한다.

  With the increasing proportion of Chinese students studying in South Korean universities, their academic achievements and adaptation have become significant research topics. This research elucidates the learning strategies developed and practiced by academically successful Chinese students, providing insights for their adaptation and success in a South Korean university. The researchers utilized a multi-case study approach through in-depth interviews and document analysis. The study highlights the creative and original learning strategies employed by these students in overcoming linguistic challenges, academic pressures, and cultural differences. The findings reveal that Chinese students employ crucial strategies such as thorough preparation before the semester starts (미우주무, 未雨绸缪), pre-class preparation (암중비약, 暗中飛躍), active class participation (예기방장, 銳氣方張), review and exam preparation (우공이산, 愚公移山), enhancement of Korean language skills (줄탁동시, 啐啄 同時), and maintaining a self-reliant and harmonious attitude as international students (자력갱생, 自力更生 + 화이불창, 和而不唱). Moreover, their learning strategies are based on an understanding and respect for Korean culture and academic traditions. These strategies play a crucial role in overcoming academic challenges and cultural differences, leading to successful adaptation, and can be applied as positive learning and adaptation strategies for international students of other nationalities.
