[논문 초록]
이 연구는 수도권 지역의 A대학교를 중심으로 중국인 유학생들 대상으로 대학교육 서비스 경험에 관한 질적연구이다. 이 연구의 목적은 중국인 유학생들이 국내 대학에서 학습하는 과정에서 교육서비스에 대한 여러 경험 사례를 토대로대학교육 서비스의 질을 제고하고자 한다. 또한 이를 통해 대학 당국 차원에서 외국인 유학생을 유치하고 유지 관리하는데 기여하고자 한다. 이 연구의 연구참여자들은 수도권 지역에 있는 A대학교의 중국인 유학생 8명이며, 이들을 대상으로심층면담을 실시하였다. 연구 결과로는 첫째, 중국인 유학생들은 교육행정서비스의 불편함을 경험하였다. 둘째, 중국인유학생들은 학위취득을 위한 핵심적 서비스로 강의요인에서 어려움을 경험하였다. 셋째, 중국인 유학생들은 대학캠퍼스내에서 도서관 등 여러 편의시설에 대해 비교적 만족해하고 있는 반면, 한국에서의 문화체험 또는 취업문화 체험에대한 아쉬움과 소수자에 대한 우대정책이 적음에 대한 아쉬움을 가지고 있었다. 이와 같은 중국인 유학생들의 대학교육서비스 경험을 통해 중국인 유학생과 국내 학생, 교수, 행정가들과의 관계 및 교육서비스 요인에 따른 문제점 등에대한 해결방법을 찾고, 이주자 문화권의 교육체제와 한국의 교육체제 간 차이에서 오는 갈등을 최소화 할 수 있는방안을 강구하였다.
This study is a qualitative study on the experience of university education service for Chinese international students. The case of study focused on A university located at metropolitan area. The purpose of this study is to improve the quality of university education service based on experiences of education service in Chinese university students studying at domestic universities and to find a different way to attract and maintain foreign students at university authorities. Participants in the study conducted the in - depth interviews with 8 Chinese students from A University in the metropolitan area. As a result, first, Chinese international students experienced the inconvenience of educational administration service. Second, Chinese students experience difficulties in lecturing factors as a core service for obtaining degrees. Third, while Chinese students are relatively satisfied with various facilities such as libraries in college campus, they have a sadness about lack of cultural experiences or experience of work culture in Korea and preferential policies for minorities. Through such experiences of Chinese students' university education service, we are looking for better ways to deal with problems of Chinese students, domestic students, professors, administrators, and educational service factors, We should seek ways to minimize the conflicts between the education system in other countries and the Korean educational system.
